My other sound recording has been posted to the BBC World Service Save Our Sounds website. Find the recording on the map by looking at Kerala (South-Western tip of India) and the town of Trivandrum.

After a slighty dodgy start to the recording, you hear the sound of the waves lapping on the shore as the fishermen pull their nets up onto the beach. They go out on boats at night to cast the nets, and in the morning they pull the catch up to the beach and divide it, accompanied by lots of arguing. As they bring the net in, they chant prayers for the sea to provide for their families.
