I woke up at 4:45 this morning. Couldn’t get back to sleep so did this. Ten (well, twelve actually) tracks of ten out of ten music and at least ten minutes a track.
The Boston Globe reports that AMC, National Amusements, and Regal cinema chains are leaving 3D projector lenses on for 2D movies. This means that the projected image is polarized and far dimmer than it should be. The chains won’t acknowledge that they’re doing it, but one quoted insider says its an “unspoken” corporate policy.
From 13-18 June, ShelterBox and the National Geographic Store in London have teamed up to hold an exhibition of photography showcasing their work around the world, featuring photography from Pakistan, Haiti and Japan. ShelterBox are on Flickr and have a huge repository of incredible images.
